Lode Resources Ltd (ASX:LDR) is an Australian exploration company with advanced high-grade critical minerals projects in Tasmania and the New England Fold Belt of New South Wales.
Lode recently acquired the Montezuma Antimony Project in Tasmania which is in an advanced stage of development. Intention is for Lode to step up exploration, metallurgy and initial pilot production and establish a Maiden Resources ahead of full scale production. Montezuma will be Tasmania’s first Antimony mine and create significant employment opportunities in North-West Tasmania.
The New England Fold Belt is a highly prospective, however extremely underexplored, region with just one exploration hole for every 13 holes drilled in the Lachlan Foldbelt despite a similar level of mineral occurrences. The area has significant mining history with most activity between the 1850's and WWI. Since then the last big push in exploration occurred during the 1970's which resulted in a trove of geochemical data but largely never followed up. That is the exceptional opportunity that Lode identified.
Lode has assembled a highly talented and highly experienced board and management team to see its projects through to production and revitalize this highly prospective precious metals region.
