Andrew Van Heyst

Executive Chair

  • Over 30 years of experience in Institutional Equities and Advisory
  • Worked for many years in New York in senior management positions including Head of Australian Sales role for ABN AMRO and Merrill Lynch and Head of ABN AMRO Americas Client Account Management for Global Equity products
  • After returning to Australia in 2005, Andrew joined Shaw and Partners as a Corporate Advisor, specialising in Small Cap resources
  • Recently served as an Executive Director at Bridge Street Capital Partners

Keith Mayes

Managing Director

  • Over 30 years of experience in the resources sector
  • Keith held various roles in exploration, business development, operations, and finance
  • Worked with major mining companies including North Ltd, Newmont, Rio Tinto, and Oxiana
  • Experience across Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa
  • Keith is currently Partner at Global Resource Industry Personnel and formerly GM of Australian Garnet
  • Previously served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at KGL Resources
  • Engaged in exploration and development of the Jervois copper/silver/gold project in central Australia
  • Former COO at Altura Mining Ltd
  • Keith also discovered the world-class Pilgangoora lithium deposit

Ted Leschke

Executive Director Exploration

  • Over 30 years of experience in the resources industry
  • Ted has managed companies from start-up to project development and listing on the ASX as the Managing Director
  • Expertise in project identification, acquisition, and generation
  • Highly experienced in geological mapping, exploration drilling, and local community and government liaison
  • Proficient in financial management, strategy, fund raising, ASX listing, and statutory reporting
  • Previous experience as a resources analyst in stockbroking/funds management as well as a geologist in the mining industry

Jason Beckton

Non-Executive Director

  • Over 30 years of geological corporate experience
  • Served as Project Manager for Bolnisi Gold NL's Palmarejo silver/gold project in Mexico
  • Jason successfully managed a program that defined 3 million ounces of gold equivalent (AuEq)
  • Played a key role in the discovery of Exeter Resource Corp's Caspiche Porphyry prospect, which has an estimated resource of 30 million ounces of AuEq
  • Worked in Australia, Europe, North and South America, and China
  • He was the former Managing Director of Chinalco Yunnan Copper Resources, focused on exploring copper districts in Mt Isa, Laos, and Chile
  • Jason holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Melbourne as well as a Masters of Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania
  • Currently serves as Managing Director at European Resources Ltd (ASX:ERE), Non Executive Director American Rare Earths (ARR:ASX) and Advisor to Minerals Exploration Limited (MEX:ASX).

Simon Milroy

Non-Executive Director

  • 30 years of experience spanning exploration, mine development, operations, and corporate leadership roles across Australia and Southeast Asia
  • Holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from the University of South Australia and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM)
  • Most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Tin Ltd, until the recent takeover of Atlantic Tin
  • Prior to that he was the Chief Executive Officer of Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (IDX: MDKA), one of Indonesia’s leading listed mining companies
  • During his tenure at Merdeka, he led the company through a period of substantial growth and value creation in gold, copper and nickel projects

Steven McDermott

Tasmania Operations Manager

  • A seasoned mining professional with more than 20 years of experience in both underground and surface operations.
  • Has specialized expertise in operational management, supervision, and engineering, consistently achieving the safe and efficient completion of complex projects
  • A native of Tasmania’s West Coast and a third-generation miner
  • He has contributed to a range of initiatives—from junior start-ups to the reopening of the Renison tin mine—culminating in significant upgrades and profitable operations in his role as Mine Superintendent and Underground Projects Superintendent

Mitchell Tarrant

Consulting Geologist

  • With over 12 years of experience in the resources sector, Mitchell has worked as a geologist in both exploration and mining roles
  • He has contributed expertise to companies such as Red River Resources, Hillgrove Mines, and Crocodile Gold
  • Held the statutory Mining Engineering Manager Certificate in his most recent role at Hillgrove Mine
  • Responsible for managing the company's 51 tenements and overseeing all aspects of exploration
  • Expertise includes geological mapping and managing drilling campaigns
  • Mitchell is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM)
